I was born in the city of Bangalore in India. Being born and raised on an air force base nudged me to pursue my bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay (IIT-B). It was here that I realized my interest in robotics and systems engineering. This led me to come to the University of Connecticut (UConn) for my Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. At UCOnn, I work with Dr. Ashwin Dani in the Robotics & Control Lab. My research invovles leveraging machine/deep learning techniques for efficient human-robot collaboration. Thanks to the opportunity provided by UTC, I have been able to work on challenging problems with applications in Aerospace Engineering.
