My hometown, Enfield, Connecticut, is a mere 40-minute drive from the University of Connecticut. Growing up, I had a habit of tinkering with anything and everything in my household to my parents’ demise. This hobby of mine, along with my aptitude and interest in mathematics and physics, led me to pursue a degree in electrical engineering here at UConn in 2010. During my undergraduate studies, I realized that I had only begun to scratch the surface of engineering. Thus, after obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2014, I remained at UConn to pursue a doctoral degree in electrical engineering, specializing in machine learning and supervisory control of large scale and complex systems. Thanks to the opportunities provided by UTC, I have been able to work on challenging and fulfilling real-world problems and have begun my career of making an impact on industry.
