From Coursework to Certification

graduates tossing their caps in the airThe UConn Pratt & Whitney Institute for Advanced Systems Engineering is proud to announce that three of our Systems Engineering courses -- SE 5000: Introduction to Systems Engineering, SE 5001: Model-Based Systems Engineering and SE 5095: Systems Engineering Across the System Life Cycle -- together have achieved INCOSE Knowledge Exam Academic Equivalency.

This recognition by INCOSE marks a significant milestone in the Institute's continued leadership in adanced, industry-aligned systems engineering education and affirms that these courses meet the learning objectives of the globally recognized Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK).

Student who successfully complete these courses at the required performance threshold will now be able to satisfy the knowledge exam requirement for INCOSE's Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certifications -- streamlining their path to globally respect professional credentials.

This achievement underscores our commitment to euipping systems engineers with the skills, knowledge and professional readiness demanded by today's complex engineering landscape.
